There's plenty of sites and templates which use fixed fluid fluid templates, or fixed fluid fixed templates. But theres not many out there that use fixed fixed fluid with overflow hidden. Check out the layout below

In the first image, the browser is sized full width to the window.

In the second image, column 3 shrinks and any overflowed text is hidden, but columns 1 and 2 remain the same size.
